American Task Force Argentina (ATFA), the group of U.S. bondholders that didn’t adhere to the debt swap and are suing the country, said yesterday that relations between Argentina and its key allies are reaching a tipping point, right at a time when the country “needs injections of foreign investment.”  In a statement signed by its co-chairs, Robert Shapiro and Nancy Soderberg, ATFA said that “the international community is more and more concerned over the irresponsible policies of the Kirchner regime.”

“It’s clear that relations between Argentina and its key allies are at a tipping point,” ATFA argued and highlighted the conflicts between the country and the WTO, the IMF, the FATF, as well as the United States and various countries in Europe.
