	News Center Cortitas y al pie Diario El Litoral July 19, 2008 USA cierra la tranquera. Acreedores y ganaderos de Estados Unidos presentaron un proyecto ante el Congreso norteamericano para impedir la importacion de hacienda argentina. "La meta es evitar importaciones potencialmente infectadas con aftosa", planteo el director ejecutivo del Grupo Estadounidense de Tareas sobre la Argentina (ATFA, en ingles), Robert Raben. El proyecto fue elaborado por los senadores Tim Johnson (democrata de Dakota del Sur) y Mike Enzi (republicano de Wyoming) y reclama impedir la "cuestionable importacion" de ganado hasta que el Departamento de Agricultura (USDA, en ingles) certifique que la Argentina se encuentra libre de aftosa.
