Argentina Sold 700 Mln Pesos in Treasury Notes, Gazette Says

Dec. 30 (Bloomberg) -- The Argentine government sold 700 million pesos ($183 million) of Treasury notes to the National Institute of Social Services for Retirees and Pensioners.
The peso notes, which are non-transferable, were issued Dec. 23 and are due June 22, 2010, the government said in a resolution published in today's official gazette.
The government previously sold 500 million pesos to the institute on Oct. 26.
