Argentine Court Keeps Freeze on Plan to Use Reserves (Update2)

Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- An Argentine federal court kept a hold on the government's plan to use $6.6 billion in reserves to pay debt, sending the case to the Supreme Court for a final ruling, Argentina's Court Information Center Web site said.
President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner's government filed a motion Feb. 5 asking the judges to send the case to the Supreme Court after they blocked her decree ordering the use of the reserves to pay debt due this year. The judges ruled against freeing the reserves while the case proceeded.
