Gov't pays off a US$2.210 billion debt with CB reserves
Buenos Aires Herald
August 03, 2010

The government paid maturities of the Boden 2012 bonds for US$2.210 billion with Central Bank reserves, which fell to US$49.884 billion.

The debt was not paid off entirely with international reserves, which is why they were affected in a lesser magnitude regarding the payment made.

Only US$1.227 billion in bonds were in the hands of international bondholders, "only this amount was not reflected in the variation of the international reserves."
