Argentina's June Growth Was Strong But Expansion Slows

Argentina released a pair of key economic indicators Friday that point to steep growth, although the pace of the recovery appears to be cooling somewhat.
Argentina's July industrial production jumped 7.9% on the year due to a sharp rebound in output for automobiles and steel, the national statistics agency Indec reported. Indec also confirmed that June's proxy gross domestic product jumped 11.1% on the year. President Cristina Fernandez had announced the preliminary growth figure earlier this week.
