Economy Minister Amado Boudou highly praised the Indec national statistics bureau's way of "operating and measuring trends," and assured that the agency is not responsible for price increases. "Certain businessmen are behind marked-up prices: they lift these prices in order to take advantage of a time during which people tend to consume at a greater pace," Boudou said.
