In Case You Missed It:
ATFA Op-Ed on Argentina's Dependence on Hugo Chavez in Today's Washington Times
WASHINGTON - As President Bush departs for Latin America, today's Washington Times has published an Op-Ed by American Task Force Argentina (ATFA) Co-Chair Nancy Soderberg on how Venezuela's Hugo Chavez takes advantage of Argentina's post-restructuring exclusion from global financial markets. While Venezuela relies on his country's current oil wealth for influence over Argentina and other emerging Latin American states, Soderberg examines the ramifications of such alliances and the need for remedies to counter Chavez's revolutionary ambitions.
